We have purchase this old Western Electrics phone.
We have no idea what model, what year, what purpose this phone had. But we would love to know if anyone can help us understand.

Is it an internal Naval ship or submarine phone?
Western Electric space saver model 211 manufactured from 1930's to 1960's. designed to fit in tight spaces like a work bench. the light was used for visual ring instead of a bell.
