My Dad was in the Persian Gulf Service Command during WW2. He was a MP on the Iran, Russian border protecting the supply trucks passing through. He sent this back home and it's been packed away since. It had been pinned up when he got it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am glad you like these as they have been hidden away all these years. I hope they have some historical value.

Since it is Persian (from Iran), I would assume that it is Farsi and not Arabic.

From my time in the Middle East the characters look just like Arabic, but I doubt that an Arabic speaker can translate. I still have several friends in the region and will check with them and see if they can translate it.
