Judging by the shape I'd say it's Kralik (like the satin vase posted on CW some time ago) ,but it also reminds F.Koudelka vase. His vase has a longer neck although.

    Any opinions will be apreciated.
    Thanks for looking!

      Hello Ivonne!

Did you find out the maker in the meantime and/or could you confirm your Kralik suspect? I am asking because i have a small vase here with the same colours and your vase is the only one in the web i found with these colours :-)

      Regards
      Micha

Hi,Micha! No,I didn't confirm Kralik attribution and I should change the title, because I confirmed Gebr.Funk as the makers.I found this vase searching internet and the colours are exactly the same like in my vase. The shape is different though but colours are exactly the same, also their arrangement and the size of spatter. Can you post your vase to compare? This is the link which I considered as helpful:

      Hi Ivonne!

Thank you for your quick response!
My vase is identical to the vase shown on the glaskilian website.
The colours of my vase seem to be a little bit brighter as the colours of the glaskilian vase. I will now continue to research, will try to find a second proof for being it really made by Funk. I always have doubts if i only have one attribution. Will tell here when i find one :-)

      Regards
      Micha

I think it could be Ernst Steinwald. The type and technique of design is very similar, for example, to this vase: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/295779-czech-art-glass--kralik-bambus-vase?in=442-activity

Thank you, larksel for your input.I 've already noticed this being on your website, but I haven't time to look through my posts and write about new ids.I think there are more false ids in my posts according to the new attribution discoveries.

When comparing shapes as part of the process to see if an attribution can be reasonably made, it is most important to pay attention to smaller details regarding the shapes. IN the link below I have put this vase and the suggest Bambus shape side by side. Although the proportions and general shape can be seen as similar, what sticks out to me are the differences. For the purpose of attributions, these differences take on a much greater meaning.

The body of each vase is actually a slightly different shape, with this vase having more of a spherical or round appearance, while the Bambus piece has a lower body which is much more ovoid in appearance. There is also a notable difference in the size and shape of the base, or foot of the piece. Where the Bambus example has a very pronounced foot, this vase does not.

Because of these differences, I am of the opinion that an attribution to the same maker could not be arrived at under these circumstances. Where some critics of my research claim that shapes can not be used in this manner because the methodology is fraught with errors, I am of the opinion that is not true, especially if the shapes are compared closely.

I am of the opinion that although these are similar shapes, they are not the same shape, and can not be linked to a common production house based on the shape.

I think that the shape is very similar, but mainly the technique of decor is, in my opinion, very similar, if not the same as the ground for a Bambus vase. This is how I see this from a photo and a comparison with my similar Bambus vases.
    24. welzebub welzebub, 3 years ago
The decor on this vase and the others is a 3 color spatter glass on a clear ground. Likely a type of spatter that any number of houses made. I think the link to a possible attribution could be made if the same shape as in this post were found in a Bambus decor, or if the same shape as a Bambus piece was found with this decor.

Based on a multi colored spatter using a different mix of colors on a clear ground, and only similar shapes, I think the leap to a common maker is too far to be supportable with these examples. I think the differences in the shapes are much more noteworthy for the purpose of attribution than the similarities. Just my humble opinion.
    25. larksel larksel, 3 years ago
I'm not saying it's definitely Steinwald. I said I thought it might be Steinwald. The shapes are very similar and stylistically similar to other Steinwald shapes known in Bambus or Flowerall decors. But the truth is that it would like to have both vases really next to each other and touch them.

Gentlemen, thank you for your deepened opinions and interesting discussion. In my opinion some attributions will be never identified. In this case the spatter decor is quite distinctive - blue, yellow and oxblood in clear glass.I've never seen another sample of this spatter.
