Yup, Viking. I usually see that style referred to as Epic Stockholm Spiked.

Uh.. excuse me but.... I don't think so. Based on these pics, I have never seen Viking look as crude as this piece. No offense. and. Viking specializes in bright colors. I have some Epic line, and I've seen hundreds of examples, and I've never seen one in this scheme. I could be wrong, it's just my opinion, based on my own experience. By the same token, I have no idea what it is, the bottom pattern suggests it is older that the Epic pieces, possibly Depression Era. I just wanted to express my opinion about this. No offense.

Fair enough. We're all basing our info on pictures of items we can't actually see in person so I expect there will be differences of opinion occasionally.

I have 8 of the Viking lotus bowls in the transparent glass and they all are textured in some way (I've found the frosted versions to be fairly smooth, by contrast). Most of mine are in pretty strong colors (amber, blue, green, etc) but they came in shades like light pink, light blue and lavender as well. A quick search shows many of the lighter shades on eBay right now, in both the transparent and frosted versions.

I have several of the smoother Viking pieces in the brighter colors (persimmon, bluenique and the like) and those appeal to me quite a bit. But something about the textured lotus bowls just works for me - maybe because they're so different from the 'normal' Viking glass I was used to.

Thanks for the education. As for finding things on eBay, it took me awhile to understand that it's all on eBay, all the time, it's just a matter of knowing how to ask for it. Never done learning though, that's the fun part. Thanks.
