This little guy is about 12" tall, golden mohair, think filled with straw, no growler, no button, jointed. The weird thing is his mouth as he has teeth showing. He also has the hand signature 'Marge' on the bottom of his right foot. I've not been able to find info about him anywhere. Can anyone help ?
    Thank you !

He appears to be a artists bear contemporary . Bear maker artists usually sign their bears and some are very good and creative . Cute I think or is he mad :-)

Thanks Manikin, that probably explains why I couldn't find him anywhere ! I suppose it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack to find who 'Marge' was, am I right ? Thanks !

Yes unless they are well known artists but not many are My friend is a Teddy bear artist and always signs his but the work they can do is amazing . Another friend teaching bear making . They are most often one of a kind using creative touches but also can make a bear that truly looks like a antique bear and a person could be tricked .

Manikin, I just googled 'Marge teddy bear designer' and came up with 'Marge Wiese' a teddy bear designer. I've e-mailed her to see if I can send her a picture. I'm so excited, I hope she replies and she did make him. I'll keep you posted !

She maybe but as much as I knew about her was she did crochet bears / Let me know what you hear :-)

It turned out it wasn't her, you are correct. She said if I took a few better pictures and sent them to her she would post it on her FB pages as a lot of her friends are artists too and they may have an idea. So, part 2 of 'I'll keep you posted' to come !
