Colourful Couple MADE IN AUSTRIA Pottery Dish- Who Dunnit?

I don't see or find too many MADE IN AUSTRIA pottery items so when I found this one last weekend, I thought that it would be interesting in finding out more about it. It measures 6" across and 2" high, has a crimped border and an incised recessed scene of an enamelled painted lady admiring a flower beneath a tree with a dapper dressed in blue gentleman holding a gun. The only info. on the back is an incised MADE IN AUSTRIA and the symbol A/ . Any ideas on maker?
