Please help me discover this piece's heritage. The label on the back says "Joseph Warner Furniture Corp. Serving the Trade 42 East 33rd Street NY NY."
It is a carved mahogany cedar chest of drawers with brass hardware.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

You have some research to do. Warner didn't originally make furniture they just sold it. The furniture was made around Trenton, NJ by J.B. Van Sciver Co. . Well Warner bought out Sciver and from there you need to do research
20th century-- research on Warner will give you a better date.

thank you so much for heading me in the right direction
Scott is correct on the era because Warner bought out the furniture end of Van Sciver after WWI. I am not sure if that was just a sale or part of the bankruptcy sale.
