This is an antique lamp base that I have tried to research for several years. I would at least like to know what the type of glass is called so I could get a direction. The shade that my parents were using was slag. I think the original shade probably looked like the bottom, and was broken. Any information would be helpful.

After 2 years of searching, I finally found the answer - by myself. The lamp is listed as very, very rare. However, that is only if it is complete. In most cases the top, as with mine, was broken. They were made during the 1800's and are called a "beaded drapery" pattern. The color of this is called mandarine orange and the lamp design of this specific piece is called "Imperial".
