Do you remember these from Mom & Grandmom? Does anyone where they were made? I could not see anything on the bottom. The cracker works great, but I'd rather have a horse shoe nail bent a little for black walnuts.

My Mom had one, I'm not sure where they were made but I noticed you are in Michigan like me and like my parents were so maybe from a tourist town in state?
I think one of my sisters has it.
By chance did/do you have a private photography biz near the Port Huron area?
you just look like I know you from ? or maybe know the Aisthorpe family?
PS just noticed the post from agh so they likely sold them in MI as well.

I remember using it to crack the Walnuts I got in my Christmas stocking back then we got nuts and maybe a Orange or the likes in our stockings, Others find that rather strange but it's something I recall fondly.
