I vividly remember this lamp being on a table in my Grandmother's house when I was a wee lad. When she passed away it came to our house via my father and was in the house for many years. Upon the death of my mother at age 90, it was one of the few items I really wanted.
The lamp is constructed of metal, which has the appearance of a dull brass but it does not polish up or shine. Could be the shine is worn off. Outside of the lamp shade has visible creative designs, some form of a swan on each panel. Inside is a cloth material sewn in. The stand is a double bulb with pull chains.
Any help in identifying would be appreciated as there are no markings on the base, shade of stand to assist with this.

Apollo Studios made pierced brass shades and bases like yours. I had a full floor that was pieced from top to bottom. Check this one out:
