I got this bottle at a flea market this summer and really thought it was a cool piece. I am a small time collector, but I collect anything vintage new england and Connecticut, since I'm from CT. I'm think this bottle is from the early to mid 1960's, but im not sure. I just know its cool and holds a special place in my heart because its vintage connecticut. its alittle piece of history ya know. any info at all would be helpfu thanks
Numbers on the bottom?
Great Bottle! I have two of these, one is like yours with refreshing slogan, 8 oz. 9 1/4 in height dated 1969, other one looks similiar except dark green dated 1962. As VikingFan said look on bottom to see if there are any dates. I would say yours is sixties, but not sure.
the number on the bottom is 398-2 also there is a G74
yeah this one is 12 oz bottle and it measures 12 inches in wieght. Is this bottle worth anything. not that I would sell it because its near and dear to my heart. just wondering???
I figured it was late sixties early seventies, 74, that is your answer. They came in a variety sizes, even 28 0z. It is funny after all these years I have never been able to pin down a good price on them. If I am able to determine a real value i will let you know. I will tell you that it is a very collectable bottle. Hope this helps.
your bottle says 1 pint 12oz. not 12 oz . 1973 is the date on the bottom of mine . ebay has it listed for 9.99 Buy It Now. comes in 7 up green glass also. worth less than 10$

Nice bottle, it's from the late 50's early 60's. It was my uncle's soda company and it was located on Wethersfield Ave. in Hartford. There was also a distribution outlet in Middletown and New Britten CT
I have a few wooden soda boxes and bottles saved as well.
I have 19 of these in green and clear. I don't know how to tell the year. there is a # 398-2 and similar #s and also G (in a a box) followed by 73. Also there is a clear bottle with a completely different label. I also have a wooden case.
Stephen Hopkins it would be great if you could post more info about the company (when it opened, when it closed, the owners, type of soda that was made, etc.) I bet the rest of us history buffs would like to know more…..
I know Hartford Club had it's bottling plant on Wethersfield Ave. in Hartford as that was my old stomping grounds. It was not a large outfit that I know for sure because the building itself wasn't too big. They made a good cream soda back then. Haven't been back there in years so not sure what if anything is left at the site. It would be great if Stephen Hopkins would post some info on the history of the company. It shouldn't be too hard to get the info if in fact his uncle actually owned the company.
I just found a Hartford Club Beverage bottle in my house. It is dark green, red label, still capped, full. The numbers on the bottom are 766. Any idea of age?
Thank you!
