Julius Mühlhaus & Co. hand-enameled glass vase, ca. 1910-1915

This piece by the glass refinery Julius Mühlhaus & Co., Novy Bor (Haida), ca. 1910-1915, is far and away one of the best examples I have seen. There are four alternating panels of gold floral scrolls, cartouches with multi-colored birds and flowers, and straight rows of bell flowers (red on one side, and blue on the other). Be sure to expand the photos to full size to get the details. It's a large piece - 8.5" tall, about 5.75" wide, and it weighs a hefty 3 lbs, 4 oz! JM&Co purchased their blanks from the likes of Harrach, Loetz, and Meyr's Neffe. The vase is marked on the base in gold ink with a typical "scissor" mark and the production number 327/152.
