    My recollection is that this chair, which has a seat lower to the ground than the usual chair, was designed to assist someone in cleaning their boots or to help them put their boots on. The chair is wood with a cloth seat. It has now been destroyed in a flood, but I'd like to find out more so that perhaps I can replace it. If you only know the name of this type of chair (is it actually a "boot chair") even this information would be useful.
