A small iridescent bowl with a mere six crimps. I 'think' I've seen the same small bowl but with many more crimps. Perhaps Michelle can help me in this, and also as to whether it is Rindskopf 'Ribbed' or not.
I like it a lot and am not hung up on what it may turn out to be, if anything!
Diameter 13 cm./5 inches
You have my vote on that one Peggy, Green, God I love Green.
The iridescent colours was majestic.
Congrats
Alan
Hi Alan, you're far from alone in loving green! Thanks for a lovely comment, too.
Well....just way too nice!
Thank you, Karen, I do love the green......

Hi Peggy,
What a lovely bowl! I know how much you love the 'greens', as I do, too! :) I wish I could say it was the Rindskopf 'ribbed' decor, but it doesn't seem quite ribbed enough to me. (In looking at my Rindskopf ribbed rose bowl, the ribs are very clearly raised on the exterior.) It could still be by Rindskopf, of course, but at this point, I think it is too hard to say who made it. I do have a similar bowl, with ten crimps, but again, I think it is too hard identify based on shape alone. The pontils are very similar in our bowls, by the way. Whoever made them, I love small bowls like this, and yours is a lovely example! (here is my bowl, just for comparison: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/113506-iridescent-bohemian-low-bowl--possibly
It's definitely a quality piece of glass Peggy having beautiful color and iridescence! Love it!!!
Thank you, Michelle, for responding with a considered opinion, which I value. I'm glad you posted you bowl as there are similarities. I have other orphans, so it's not a hardship:-)
Thank you, Rick, I value your opinion too, as I realise you are familiar with quality glass......
Thank you for the love, Lady-Jennifer.
