Inscribed on the bottom of the piece is a faint marking of the number 20. The design is Chusan (possibly also known as Pompom Chrysanthemum).

Keeling & Co were in existence from 1886 until 1936 or 1937. "LOSOL" is a trademark.

Is it made that way, or was it scorched in a fire?? I am not very familiar with wash stands but I have seen china that was in a fire. I am sure I must be wrong....

I have poor vision, enlarged I see it has a glaze over so can't have been in a blaze. Happy for that!
