    Would like info. this lovely glass or crystal lamp with down turned pedal shaped shade. Was told by antique seller that it is from France but there are no markings. Only info I can find on lamp is number 6143 cast into bottom of brass base.

      interesting lamp... deconstructing - it appears to be made from a vase for the base and a bowl for the shade (each upside-down). There's possibly a better chance to ID the vase and bowl rather than the lamp as a whole. The numbers are only related to the electrical parts which could have been used on may different lamps. Quite often these jobber type creations are difficult to ID.

      Wonder IF the Glass bowl // Vase is VANNES FRANCE pieces? Just check, maybe Vannes made Glass lamps.......???

      Thanks for all the quick answers. My lamp is definately a Vannes. The base is identical to the Vannes LE Chatel French Art glass lamp that Antiquerose posted and shade is identical to the image TallCakes posted plus vase body is very similar to the Midcentury French Crystal lamp except that my lamp is 22 inches high.
