    Hi Folks,

Here are two small bottles I found on Wake Island. They're about 2 1/2" tall and 1" round. The opening is about 1/2" round. There's a seam on both sides from top to bottom. Medical use? Japanese or American?
    What do I have?

    Thanks, Jeff

Apothecary bottles. The tops for these are actually round and clear, a bit larger than a marble... google digger o'dell, he's got a great bottle research site.

I have two of these. Mine can be dated to 1942 or before. They are Japanese and probably medicinal bottles.

Thanks Guys for your input on these bottles. I'm thinking they were used by Japanese field medic's during our bombardment of the Island during WWII.
I'm not a bottle collector so if you guys want them their free!
