Approx 18 inches tall, very good condition (I think), left foot cracked but repaired. All original clothing, dress, petticoat and bloomers. A few paint scratches on back of head.
Been stored in a trunk for decades, so it has that 'old attic' smell. Probably my mother's(so ~1930), possibly her mother's (~1890)

Here's 2 more pics of the doll.

Very nice what is called a Flat top China doll made in Germany . She would be circa late 1870-1900 so would have been your Grandmothers doll. China dolls names come from their hairstyle . The style after her was a low brow which were made into 1930's but most china's ended around 1920. Many times bodies have been replaced as most were made of cloth . I can't see the body on yours so not sure she is on original body . They sell replacement lower legs and arms still . The value of China's is the head and hair style the more elaborate and rare hairdo's more sought after . Yours would be one of the more common to find but not most common , Love her !

I added till 1900 but most had changed by then to low brow china so I will say she is more apt to be 1870's .

If you google Flat top China you will see there are a few differences in faces and slight difference in hair as several companies produced these and each had their own look , some have chubby faces ,some more prominent side curls but they all fall into Flat top China's . Often some are listed wrong as Covered wagon style but that is much different and older style .

Thanks for the comments. Interesting to hear she's older than I guessed. I'll get a better head shot and one of the body too. Pretty sure it's all original but I'd like to hear your thoughts.
