    BEAUTIFUL MINIATURE SILVER LADLE
I have a small antique MINIATURE SILVER LADLE. which measures 4 1/4" in length. The tiny bowl is just shy of 7/8" in diameter X almost 3/8" in depth. The handle design is comprised of 6 graduating beads with a soft curve to the handle.
Does anyone have any idea what a ladle this small would have been used for? I'm guessing late 19th century but would greatly appreciate any information someone may be willing to share with me. Thank you in advance.

i have seen similiar examples before and they are called toddy ladles, toddy being a liquor distilled from coconuts,i might be wrong.

I checked out Toddy Ladles and claret ladles and they have longer handles (this is only 4 1/4" long) and have an elongated bowl for pouring. Perhaps a small sauce ladle?

Turns out it is a mustard ladle.
