I've had this old tin for awhile. i have no idea what it was for, but it's pretty nice. it's a little over 6" long x 4" wide and 3" tall. it's in wonderful condition. the knob/handle on the cover is kind of strange though.

What a pretty tin! I have one or two fancy ones myself. Think they were just cookie tins that were made fancier back in the day? :)
