These were my mother's bedroom lamps. I have had them for about 50 years. They are white porcelain like material, gold bands, with pink roses on them, 30 inches tall and they must have their original shades.
There are no markings, except for a sticker from the Underwriters Labs, Inc
I have 1 identical lamps except about 23 inches high and the shade looks like it was the original, but not the same as yours. It belonged to my mother in law and I am helping to find out the info on it so the family can make the best decisions of what to do with it. Other than that I know nothing about it, so I am interested in what you find out.
I would love to see what your lamp looks like. I measured mine at 30 inches, but then that could be because the shades could be larger than the ones on your lamp. I am trying to find out more by the UL number on the sticker on mine. I am told that they can tell you something about it. If I find out anything I will let you know.
Is there a way to post the picture here for you to see. I was looking at it just now and the base on yours below the stem with the flowers is a taller base than mine. but the middle portion with the flowers and the flowers appear to be exactly the same.
It would be interesting if it were the same one. They just could have put a different base on yours. That would account for the difference in height.
I guess for posting a picture you would have to go back to your posting and post a picture there. I did it when I first posted this question. Other than that I do not have a clue. Sorry.
I just uploaded under "Porcelain Antique Lamp" under Show & Tell - Lamps - Table Lamps
sorry Texas Girl, I just can not find it. Perhaps it hasn't posted yet.
