Unknown signature need help making it out I don't understand why an artist would write his name on something if somebody can not read it. It makes me happy that they're taking cursive out of school!

You're not serious about the cursive, are you? Really?

Artists signatures drive me crazy too and I don't think we're the only ones. You don't show what that signature is on and that's pretty much a need to know! It looks to me like someone etched their own name on what ever it is to show ownership. Add a pic of the item if you will.

No I'm not serious about the cursive its a black vase with red and gray lines its on a show and tell a few post back I just keep posting the signature because a couple people asked me to try to get a better picture of it

But isn't the object a glass vase, rather than art pottery? If so, that's the way glass pieces are signed, and wouldn't mean it was added later by an owner.

Use some white Talc powder on it -- rub it on -- take a pic and post it here

Looks like a Nice Vase -- So worth the shot. Never say Never.....as you NEVER know....LOL
