Started picking 4 layers of paint off an old cast iron table I've had and lo and behold - a rare 1920's porcelain Conoco sign. About 26" round and it cleaned up pretty well. Good color and still pretty shiny on what was the underside (photo 2) a little more worn and duller on what was the top (photo 3). I'm guessing it was painted after it started rusting around the bolt holes. I think it was made into a table prior to 1950 as the nuts on the bolts, holding the top to the base were square and not hex. Kinda cool! It's not a table anymore!
