Purchased from Goodwill for $5.99 and I cannot contain my excitement to know what it is!
Approx 14"l by 9"w by 9" tall (without legs)
The elderly stock assistant said it was a shoe shine box...yet it looks very different than all other shoe shine boxes I have seen so far.
My grandfather showed me his old shoe shine box when i was younger and i am dying to know if this was from his era or earlier (1910s-1930s)...Christmas may prove lovely for him this year ;)
Any ideas on what exactly it is and if it is even from America?
