    As far as I can tell .Blown faceted glass stein,with a fictoral skull on an inlaid lid..5 liter, 5 1/2 inches tall.

      This could be a home made item - whatever was originally on the lid was missing, so someone decided to add the skull for effect.

      Efesgirl, thank you for that piece you found.I do believe it was from the same company.A friend of mine found an old stein catalog from the Late 1800.It shows a picture of the stein.E Bohne Sohne was the manufacturer of this and other charactor steins.
