Hi there -- Just another item here from Home. It is a 1940's Vintage Jeannette Glass vanity / powder dish / Trinket Dish. The swan shaped wing can be a lipstick holder. Pressed glass dishes and came in a variety of colors that were cold painted. NOT sure it this ever had color on it, and flaked off. The dish is round with a 4 inch bottom and ribbed sides. The top and bottom fit together with toothed edges. The handle is in the shape of a swan and was designed to hold a lipstick tube between the wings. It is 5 inches tall to the top of the swan's head. I imagine they made clear ones too.
Perfect Shape. Nice little family item to keep here. Thanks for stopping and looking. Love ya CW Gang !!

Brings back fond memories of my childhood...my grandmother had a green one, it held her facepowder. The powder box fit perfect in it. I have no idea who made the item but just saw a few different colors in a local store.
