Another post from Andy's collection.
In early 1900s Riedel combined geometric forms with Biedermeier techniques that were varied throughout the entire 19th century. The idea was to achieve an opaque surface reminiscent of marble. I like those when they have very little or no ornamentation so that nothing detracts from the structure. Here is one such example, perfect condition, 8-9'' tall.
Lovely - is is so perfect it needs no other decoration at all.
