im not a coca-cola guy but to me it looks like a fantasy item
does anyone know a value
probably not worth more than 5 dollars because its a fantasy item
i dont know what a fantasy item is
a reproduction. its a fantasy because there was probably never an original its probably made up from the 90s
thanks i am new to this
yep no problem its always good to have knowledge with so many reproductions on the market
Reproduction- a copy of an original antique that existed
Fantasy- A made up item to look old and rare. Usually made to trick people, sometimes not.
Your item may fall into both. Becasue this is a copy of a 1907 change reciever, but they never made a sign that had the graphics. Since it is a coca cola authorized product, it is known to coca cola that this was made, and that it sore purpose was to be for collecting/ decoration. So it falls into both catorgories of it being a repro or a fantasy. Hope that explains alot.
Your item is a fantasy item. The graphics are stolen from a 1907 glass change receiver. The sign is of recent vintage. Value is worthless, except as a decorator item.
