I acquired this Drucker trunk a few months ago. I plan to restore it. It is in fairly good condition with all hardware intact as well as the inside drawer. On the inside of the lid is a star like pattern. Does anyone know the significance of this. It is original to the best of my knowledge. I saw the same star pattern on a wardrobe trunk seen on an old movie on TV. I would also like to know how to restore the canvass. It has not been painted and there are no rips.
