I have no idea whatsoever what I got here! The brooch is in excelled condition and this makes me believe that it could be a very recently produced piece. At the same time it feels heavy and seems to be very well made. The brooch is a bit over 3 inches. Somehow it reminds me of some Juliana brooches but I have not found a single one looking like mine.
I am at a loss! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
That is BEAUTIFUL~! I don't know what you have there, either, but let me know when you get tired of it! LOL
I will keep that in mind - LOL
Thanks for your comment:)
Gillian, thanks a lot. I cannot wait to see your posts:)
Many thanks, Manikin:)

Back when I first came here, there was a member who was an expert in Julianna, don't know where she got to but hasn't posted in forever. There are two experts in Julianna that helped me, one on eBay, steamingtruck, and another on etsy, metroretrovintage, I think those are the names but it's been a while since I contacted them. There is a site on Julianna that says they will authenticate your pieces, however I tried them and they never contacted me. Good luck with this lovely brooch. :)
Thanks so much for your comments, antiquerose and katherinescollections. I have searched a bit more.
So here is the verdict: I checked out the Education Site for D&E/ Juliana (thanks for the hint, katherinescollections).
(http://imageevent.com/julianajewelry/notdebroochesii) There is brooch very similar to mine (item #133) in the section verified as NOT Juliana! So that means that my brooch is most likely NOT Juliana either. But the question remains: What is it? I guess I will entertain myself a little longer trying to get some information about my brooch.
I just hope it's not a recent Chinese import. I would feel really silly if it was:(
I have the brooch and matching earrings in green. You're right its not D&E (makers of Juliana) but its a very well made piece. Ive never been able to find out a maker for mine either. Ive dated it to the 60s. Ill put a pic of mine up soon and you can compare
Thanks so much for your comment and the post of your brooch, themuse. Yours looks lovely with the matching earrings!
