My 1851 Colt Reb Nord Navy 44. Caliber Revolver Set. I have always wanted one of these black powder percussion revolvers, and while this is a reproduction .44 caliber instead of the original .36 caliber, its a really beautiful, fully operational set.
If this is your 1st time firing, be sure to read up on it & don't skip the Crisco/grease over each loaded chamber.
Don't worry, I won't skip it. I also have grease. I'm not intending to make a ship of the line out of her which is firing all broadside cannons with one shot. :)
I bet that's got quite a kick to it! Sure is pretty...
I was raised firing originals & the 1st time I fired a Colt navy it happened with all 6. Even had 1 stuck in the recess of the loading plunger. I'm a quick learner though. I found that rotating the cyl. & pressing the cap firmly down with the hammer cut out misfires.
