Finding Welz Tango glass is not a common occurrence for me. Finding a pair in a colour I'd never before seen is barely believable. But sometimes amazing things do happen. The colour is a pale peachy pink and the trim is black (amethyst).
These vases are cased in translucent peach coloured glass, a very popular colour in the twenties and thirties. This can clearly be seen on the bases in image one.
This is a well documented Welz shape and made in several heights

Peggy, I have only seen one of these Welz vases in this color before, and loved it. To see your pair is extra special! There is something so elegant about the pale pink with the black edge. Gorgeous!

kivatinitz, Thanks for commenting. These are the first pink Welz Tango pieces I've ever seen, and feel lucky to have them :-) However if you search CW for Loetz Tango Glass you will find some absolutely beautiful pink examples.
