This is one of the earliest pieces Royal Dux made.
It's a little boy holding a pheasant, granted he looks a bit tatty but that is because he was made about 1860 and his maker Eduard Eichler very kindly signed him on the base.
The Teplitz museum confirmed this for me as I did wonder about him.
He is lovely though.

Thank you kivatinitz I'm so pleased to have found it ,it is one of a pair but the other is not signed just numbered.
I've never seen another that is signed .
