My family roots date to the 1660's in Maryland, and as a result we have an odd collection of old family belongings. This chair is one. My husband wants to get rid of it, but it reminds me of my grandparents. Any info would be appreciated. Measures 18" in leg height, back is 16" high.

I have two chair exactly like this one. I love them. Just wondering if you know what year they are from. How did you find out that they are called a Servant Chair? Just curious. Mine hang on the wall with an oil lamp on the seat and a picture of my parents and a doily my mother in law crocheted.
