Well, how's this for Gothic?? I spotted this in another thrift shop this afternoon. Whoever owned it before had hung it on the wall, but this is a table piece. I love the detail! I think it's brass rather than bronze, but I'm not certain.
    Measures 5 1/2"x 4"
    Thanks for looking.

You found a french pieces plot!
It is the Sacré Coeur in Montmartre :-)

kyra - I need to find out what that tall structure on the right is, so I can get a better idea of the date of this small tray.
    3. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 9 years ago
LOL nope - I guess I can't date it from that structure. Guess I'll stick to Victorian. Sure looks like it, judging from the design.

Surprisingly the tower is not visible on all pics :-)

On an other subject... Saw you seem a little upset by our incredible Auntmolly, lol!

I noticed also, Bonnie. I was quite shocked recently that I got a love on one of my items from someone who rarely gives them. It's funny how some who have been on this site for so long, even under different identities, don't join into the spirit. I am always grateful when people like yourself and kyratango leave a comment on something I've posted, and I enjoy looking at your things and participating on your threads as well. It's too bad when members don't seem to want to share the love.

Oh, and I love this piece, it goes well with your other Paris souvenir! :)

Ha, Kath, I highly appreciate your kindness and state of mind!

      Needing some laugh?

Have a look on AuntM EBay...

When I saw your ring today with the moss agate, Peasejean, I thought of this posting, and wondered how you would react. :/
    20. Peasejean55 Peasejean55, 9 years ago
Katherinescollections, it was a lovely comment thank you. :-) I think I may be missing something lol.
    21. katherinescollections katherinescollections, 9 years ago
Your ring is moss agate, and the eBay posting is moss agate. :)
    22. Peasejean55 Peasejean55, 9 years ago
Woops, katherinescollections, ive just gone back though the thread, I've got you now. To my knowledge the like Opals, moss agate can be all different colours, lol. I should pay more attention.
    23. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 9 years ago
LOL this comment thread has progressed from an Addams Family heirloom to a moss agate ring.... :-D
    24. Peasejean55 Peasejean55, 9 years ago
Is it the ring or bracelet that is the question lol.
    25. kyratango kyratango, 9 years ago
Jean, I highly prefer your beautiful ring to the so rare (and expensive...) bracelet !!!
Efe, for sure we are far from your original post ! (though... did the Adams have an auntie?) ;-D
