Dear CW friends,
I'd like to share this pair of hand made candleholders.
I bought them in a small gallery in one of narrow streets of Rhodos Old Town. The bowls are made of blown "forest" glass with cobalt and green drifts and irregular bubbles. The feet are hand made of bronze and signed Aris (Aristidis Brothers).Altogether it gives the candleholders "antique" look.
Unfortunately ,I wasn't able to find the artists in the Net to know more about them.Perhaps I should use a Greek type.
Thanks for looking :-)
Thak you vetraio and ozmarty for the loves :-)
Many thanks mikelv, kyratango,Efesgirl and Rick :-)
Really pretty pieces, Ivonne, and they seem to share some of the colours and texture of your Cobalt Pandora vase. Just wondering if you display them together....

Yes, I had to wrap them very carefully and put in the middle of a suitcase, between sponges, very tightly.I'd been a bit upset until I unpacked them though. As my grandma used to say :nothing ventured, nothing gained :-)
Inky,thanks for the love!
