Any information anyone would have on this piece would be greatly appreciated.

There is a number, 003, on the right next to the name on the bottom of the crew.

    Thanks!

This thread on fossilfly will get you started on this consortium. The numbers are of significance. Interesting enamel work .... a deft hand.

vetraio50, definitely painted by a skilled artisan! I will research it's value, but hoping to keep it for myself as it too unique and "campy" to let go of unless these pieces are more valuable than I realize! Rick

If you google "cristalleria santi" and go to images you will see a great number of older black and white images that show the factory and its workers in action. The whole effect is like a Pasolini movie !!!!

The Alinari Archives. Great photographic resource ... But from I can work out there is little on the net about Cristalleria Santi except that they produced goblets in the main and that Renzo Moro worked there.

Great information, vet! I cannot wait to research the items I have. I have so many heavy lead crystal, cut-glass pieces my mother loved.

You are very knowledgeable, as I guess many others here are, and I really appreciate your help! I plan to post more items until I learn enough to do more on own!

It seems this Cristalleria Santi piece may be somewhat rare and I plan to visit the site and learn more!

I was recently given this information related to the piece:

"The enamel pattern is an old Spanish one called Canine and Foliate. The pattern was done first in Spain and then by Moser on glassware made by Salviati and another European company. I had seen these more modern pieces with the Canine and Foliate decoration at auction, but didn't know who it was. So it is Santi. Good information. The canine is different than the Spanish and moser pieces, but it is the same general theme."
