This is a Norma doll that recently sold on auction on eBay.

From the last small picture under the large one, you will see that you can find the date of the doll by moving the hair away on the back or side of the neck.
I don't think it should be given to a 3yr. old - maybe wait a few years. I'd be interested in how old she is.

I did try to look for a date stamp but I do not see one and I can't find this doll any where I've search her name all over the Internet but I can't seem to find this one

What maybe is a little more important is to find the maker, and the date. The maker's name is on the bottom of the third (I think) tag on her left side. Maybe this maker didn't give her dolls separate names?

try doing a search on the style of dress, anything else that might be useful on the tags etc. Did you remove all her clothes (scandalous! - sorry), including shoes to check for a date?

She would date 1980's 1990's when these collector porcelain dolls were in high demand under impression they would increase in value . Some were not cheap at time but market on them has dropped very low and many do not sell or for very little . They were mass produced and limited edition was just another way to make buyer think it would increase in value . At the time these dolls were sold true Antique bisque dolls were selling very high however with the internet now they to have become easy to find and value has dropped . The exception to rule is on very very rare antique dolls and they have only dropped a bit . On ebay every doll is listed as rare which is not true , Very few Rare dolls appear on internet they are sold privately or at high end doll shows . Your doll is not a toy and not for a 3 year old but meant as a decoration never as a toy . A couple artist dolls have retained value by famous artists . Yours is not one . I would put it on a shelf and let daughter look at it until older .

Your doll was sold to members that collected Collectible Memory dolls and may have received one in mail every few months so they offered her to those people . IF you could find a person that collected these dolls she may have some value to them but not a high value :-(

Agree with Manikin. These dolls were churned out by the thousands and made for K-Mart.

And not worth undressing and searching for more information on her , I would just enjoy her . Thanks Efsgirl we both agree :-)

I apologise if I've led you astray. It's a Collectors Choice Doll. Most of the dolls are in modern(?) packaging. Lots of them on the net. I've probably screwed up on the markings on your doll. I think the person who bought it may have just written the date of purchase, and Norma is the dolls name.

      I'm very sorry.
