Found in a pile of thrown out junk in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

I remember seeing one of these as a kid but it was being used as a miniatures case. I found it with a bunch of junk in a craigslist curb alert in tge free section. It looks original to me with few flaws. Im reading it should be referred to as a case and not a drawer. It measures 32 1/4 x 19 3/8 deep x 1 1/2. That last photo is a marking on the bottom i cant make out . if you were sliding the case out it would be underneath in the left front corner. I would really just like to know where this should really belong. Is it to be admired on my wall? Im curious as to how old it is. Alot of history here. Ive got it on an old desk for now. Rich Adams.
