Seems all these pieces I inherited from my mom fall into catagory of America Brilliant Cut Glass. I was always thinking 'surely these beautiful pieces must have a much classier name then just cut glass' like my mom would call them ... but guess she was right.

I can hear her now reacting to my revelation by saying, "Haven't I always told you your mama is always right?" And I did admit to her on many occasions in her golden years that yes she had always been right (well 99% of the time) and I should have listened to her from the get go .... smile!

This is not from the American Brilliant Cut Glass era which is 1880-1916. These are much newer and most likely Imports from Europe. We see these pieces from Europe all the time on our American cut glass websites.
