Please help me figure out an estimate on what this could be worth or give me any information that you would know about this.
The house belongs to a friend of mine (who is 97 years old), and this belonged to her father-in-law. He owned a small grocery store, and she is thinking that this could have been a sample for a house in the Sears Roebuck catalog.
It is approx. 4-5 inches long and about the same in height. It has metal window facings, an attached chimney, and a door that opens and shuts. I'm not sure why she put the strings on it, but it is all in near perfect condition.
Photos are to small and you can add 2 more yet one a close up view , Very nice but to date by tiny photo's . Welcome to CW
Thank you for the welcome, and for the comment. I tried to get pictures that were more close up. Please let me know if you can find anything out for me! I greatly appreciate it!
The entire archive of Sears houses and designs is available online for free. This one doesn't look familiar as one of theirs but you should research the archive, it isn't huge. They also sold barns and greenhouses.
Thank you! I will look and see what I can find out.
Wonderful house, but I can't help wondering why you want to know the value of something that isn't yours? We aren't supposted to discuss value on CW so I'm not going to.
If your intensions are good towards the owner then I'm sorry if I sound grumpy...
