I just inherited this watch recently and think it is from the 1930's. I haven't done much research or had an actual appraisal on it but a friend of mine who knows a little about jewelry said it is Platinum and white gold (the clasp says 14K). Its in great condition but I am not sure if I should sell it or not. I don't know much about the maker, but I guess they are high quality from what I have read, but don't really seem to hold their value. Does anyone think the value will increase in time or just hold its own?

Unfortunatly, womens wristwatches dont go for the same value mens watches go...I keep mine in a safe because if I sell now, I only get scrap prices, thats too bad

Well I just looked at the shopping on Google page for GP vintage ladies watches, and they do have a bit of value if they're working, and yours is a much more beautiful design and with more diamonds. It's up to you, of course, whether to sell or not, just don't sell it for scrap if it's functioning, is what I would suggest.

Can anyone tell me if I should take this watch to any special type of jeweler. Should it be someone who specializes in Vintage watches or should they all know how to repair it? I think it was over wound. Also, can anyone tell me if they know of a good, honest jeweler in the Phoenix, AZ area?
