    when i first saw this i had no ideal what it was but for 2 dollars i thoght it must have something to do with cars my dad told me it was to check 6 volt batterys

      you can check the old style (tar top) batteries of any voltage with these since they are built to check one cell at a time, they won't work on plastic topped batteries....
