Is it for slicing the top off of a boiled egg?

This is so funny! One of these was just posted recently.

Tall Cakes says: Boiled egg topper!

What's funny to me about it is that I had never seen one either and now there are two with in as many days! That's what I meant by funny!

This a Poached Egg Topper - used to break off the top end (small end) of a poached egg so that you can eat the soft egg inside that would run out if you cracked it. You would not use this on a hard-boiled egg since the insides are solid.

Don't forget the soldiers to have with your googy egg!
Do you dip your soldiers in to the yolk?
      Haahaha
