    Made this find at a local thrift store. It's a Gorham silver cup, about 3" in diameter and 2" tall. It's inscribed with "Charles Raymond Fritsch September 2nd 1917." Not sure what the significance of the inscription is, particularly in relation to the era of Gorham silver, but if anyone has any insight, I would love to know more about it!

      Yeah, thanks, I'm glad you said that since it backs up my suspicion that it could be a Christening cup based on other stuff I've seen online, but I just didn't know enough about them to tell.
