this is one of the dolls I have from my Grand mothers collection. She had a doll museum in Van Nyse Ca called Anita's Dolls. I am looking for any information about these dolls. THis one seems to have a body made of leather. If you know where I could start looking I would love the help. Thanks

I need to see back of head ,she has a french look but likely German Made for French market , That she has a closed mouth makes her more special than a open mouth doll . She is dressed in age appropriate French fashion style clothes . Very Good doll and makers mark will be on back of head .

She's very beautiful! I love the serious look and those thoughtful eyes! I have seen that Facebook before in a doll my grandmother had. Don't know where she got it but she lived in Sweden. I always asumed the doll was european and even from our country. Same kind of eyes and thin eyebrows like that.

That's the name the guy who started the thread said belonged to his grandmother. Very cool to have a book about your family's business.

Anita Ellen Hawkins. She was a pioneer Airline hostess, and she collected dolls as she flew around the world.
