This vase is just under 6cm tall and could bear no useful function at all unless to be a dolls house centrepiece, a collectors piece (which I doubt) or a salesman's piece or commercial sample. Maybe I'm wrong but it hardly fits a birthday candle.
It is quite finely enamelled in the Art Deco style and signed "Pohl" but not a recognised signature for any of the 4 Pohl glassworks in Haida/Novy Bor.
The Pohls were an interesting glass family, having links to Harrach. This Pohl is unidentified at present.
    It was bought in France.

Tiny vases are often listed for violets in the old catalogues

      Thanks - that makes sense.

Hello, Paris1925, it is an unknown member of the Pohl family, as far as I can see. The work of Josef Marian Pohl is signed but his signature was in capitals. The famous vases are either Josef Marian or Friedrich Pohl: I will post a Pohl link separately.
