I have this collection of hundreds, possibly thousands of toy cars, trucks, models, posters and other memorabilia that a friend inherited and doesn't want to keep. I'm trying to figure out exactly what she has and how much the collection might be worth to someone who collects these type of goods. Some of it is pretty neat stuff, and reminds me of my own furious play with Hot Wheels a few dozen years ago. I've tried contacting "experts" and have gotten no responses. Can anyone here offer some advice on how to go about getting evaluation on such a collection?

As far as the "The Winston" posters go they can go anywhere from 20.00 to over 100.00, depending upon condition and what year. They could go for more or less, it is all about what someone is willing to pay. They have been reproduced, originals should be marked R. J. Reynolds. I posted a original 86 "The Winston" poster today. Unless you know a nascar collector, e-bay is your best bet on posters.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably just start pushing everything out on to e-Bay and Craigslist to see what the market will bear.
