Any ideas what this is? Friend picked it up at an antique shop, where it was labeled as a bottle opener, but it seems ill suited to that purpose. Google searches have brought up nothing, so I thought I would ask here!

This is a Dzus key. It is used to turn Dzus buttons or fasteners on aircraft engine cowlings. Mostly from WW 2 on. Not used much with these new generation Airbus types. A regular screwdriver would work, but not as well as this tool. It perfectly fit the curved slot in the fastener.
