My dining room suit mentioned in an earlier post about the china cabinet consists of 9-pieces. Buffet, china cabinet, table & 6 chairs. The buffet & china cabinet have beautiful burl inlays. I have 5 regular and one arm chair. These are the chairs.

Beautiful, where could you ever find this quality again!!Ok,I have to ask, what is the name of the paint color on your walls? I have another room to paint and was thinking of using a color similar to yours,I have brown upholstery on my furniture,do you think it would look good together if I were to change some accent colors to match the walls?Back to the subject, your dining room furniture is fantastic,do you have a maid? if so she does a great job.Don't ask why I notice these things,it is an illness.
      Again,G'day

Thank you Dottie for the time you've taken to look, love & comment. I got this set a good while back, and just like most things in my life, the story is long and rather interesting, or so I've been told. On the paint color, it's much like most anything else in my life, I have a collection of many (colors). The technical name is "sea foam green" & it's a trademark shade of mine that I have used in the last three homes I've owned. Only in the areas where I spend the most time, the living room, dining room & den. Pastels are a favorite of mine and every room in my home is a different color. This color is my favorite. IMO you have very good tastes. And on the topic of a maid, no. I'm unfortunately the chief cook and bottle washer along with being the baker/chef, yard man/mechanic & handy man/maid. Things have gotten way outta hand due to becoming a member of this site, coupled with it being less than 2 weeks from "tax time. Don't get me wrong, I'm far from being a neat freak and don't have organized pantry's and matching towels except in the guest bath, where I don't enter, but is regularly trashed every other weekend like clockwork, by two un-named teenage vandals along with their associates. Thank you again for your compliment. That was sweet. If you want the recipe for the color, it's Behr Premium Plus "flat" and the formula is readily accessible. Just let me know and I'll send it to you.
